Accreditation Program of Establishments Analyzing Heavy Vehicle Emissions

The ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques is committed to protecting the environment and enhancing knowledge in this field. In the wake of policies and regulations adopted and the various measures implemented, the Centre d'expertise en analyse environnementale du Québec (CEAEQ) designed the Programme d'accréditation des établissements d'analyse des émissions des véhicules lourds (accreditation program of establishments analyzing heavy vehicle emissions). This program was developed to recognize companies re-inspecting heavy vehicles within the scope of the Regulation respecting environmental standards for heavy vehicles.

Clientele

The new accreditation program applies to any establishment wishing to carry out the re-inspections required in accordance with the Regulation respecting environmental standards for heavy vehicles. The establishments are private companies or public, quasi-public or other types of organizations re-inspecting heavy vehicles for their own needs or for an external clientele.

Admissibility et requirements

The eligibility conditions, administrative requirements and technologies for these establishments are stated in the following documents : the Processus et exigences d'accréditation (accreditation requirements and process) and the Protocole d'analyse des émissions des véhicules lourds (analytical protocol of heavy vehicle emissions).
