The Centre d’expertise en analyse environnementale du Québec (CEAEQ) is a branch of the Ministère de l’Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, which provides specialized services pertaining to various aspects of environmental analysis (laboratory analyses, accreditation, ecotoxicological studies and field surveys). The CEAEQ’ s strength is based on the expertise and know-how of the scientists who work there. The laboratories are ISO/CEI 17025 certified and are equipped with cutting-edge instruments, allowing them to provide a large array of services. Several CEAEQ projects are conducted with collaborators and partners.

The team

The Centre d’expertise en analyse environnementale du Québec employs more than a hundred people, including university graduates at the masters and doctorate level as well as experienced technicians. They work in such fields as chemistry, biology, ecotoxicology, microbiology and quality systems. In addition, they contribute to the development of environmental analysis through conferences, symposiums, formation and scientific publications.
